The Centre for Peace and Democracy CPD has received support from Oxfam Novib through Local
Humanitarian Leadership (Nexus) project to support WASH and Protection activities for host and IDP
community members in Adado and Abudwak Districts of Galmudug State, Somalia.
The project’s objective is to enhance communities’ access, storage & management of clean water, improve hygiene standards and Women protection support through rehabilitation of solar street light,
subsequently improving living standards of communities under the 2 Districts.
In an effort towards fulfillment of the above, CPD now invites bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of 100 gender-friendly Pit-Latrines for IDPs in Abudwak District (10 households sharing per latrine) as per BOQ shared. Below is a summary of the Construction works: –
Construction of 100 gender friendly Pit latrines
• Construction of 100 gender-friendly Pit-Latrines for IDPs in Abudwak District, Galmudug State (10
households sharing per latrine) as per BOQ.
1. Requirements of tender application.
I. The Bidder should fill shared BOQ completely and show summary of total figure bided for.
II. Complete filling of all tender documents and attaching all supporting documentation
required.
III. The Bidder should clearly show clear workplan of work shall be carried out (show the period
he can complete the works)
2. Bidding Documents: A complete set of bidding documents in English may be downloaded by
interested bidders free of charge from CPD Websites: www.cpd-africa.org/procurement. Hard
copies of bid documents are also available in our offices (Adado, Galkayo and Hobyo) which
can be accessed freely.
3. Bidders who download the document from the above websites are required to submit their
particulars (company name, contact person’s name, telephone number and email) to the CPD
official emails address: procurement@cpd-africa.org using their official email addresses. The
email addresses shall be for our records and for the purpose of receiving any further clarifications
and/or addendums.
4. Bids must be delivered in plain sealed envelopes marked with Tender name and reference
number and deposited in any CPD offices: Galkayo, Hobyo and Adado. Bids must be received
on or before 5:00 pm Tuesday, 20th April 2021. Electronic bidding through official mail shall also
be accepted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the
bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below.
